Ekspozita fotografike \u201cShqip\u00ebria 1921, Eug\u00e8ne Pittard\u201d, pas suksesit n\u00eb Shkod\u00ebr, \u00ebsht\u00eb ndalur n\u00eb qytetin bregdetar, duke sjell\u00eb p\u00ebr publikun nj\u00eb udh\u00ebtim unik n\u00eb koh\u00eb.
N\u00eb vitet 1921 dhe 1924, Eug\u00e8ne dhe bashk\u00ebshortja e tij H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Pittard p\u00ebrshkuan Shqip\u00ebrin\u00eb nga veriu n\u00eb jug, duke fiksuar n\u00eb objektiv jet\u00ebn e p\u00ebrditshme t\u00eb shqiptar\u00ebve, qytetet, fshatrat, traditat dhe peizazhet e nj\u00eb vendi ende t\u00eb paprekur nga modernizimi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuratori i ekspozit\u00ebs, Elton Koritari, u shpreh se sjellja e k\u00ebsaj galerie n\u00eb Durr\u00ebs ishte nj\u00eb detyrim moral dhe historik, pasi pik\u00ebrisht nga ky qytet Pittard nisi eksplorimin e tij n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri. Sipas tij, fotografit\u00eb jan\u00eb nj\u00eb d\u00ebshmi e vyer e kushteve sociale dhe jet\u00ebs s\u00eb shqiptar\u00ebve t\u00eb asaj kohe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
